london, today.
With news still tangling and overlapping itself, information remains fragmented even seven hours after the terrible moments this morning. But enough can be known to feel distracted, saddened and sickened by it all. Public transport is a mundane, ordinary and everyday part of everyone's lives in London. Just over a million people enter central London in the morning peak period everyday and over 85% of those trips are by public transport. It's part of London. So to hear about indiscriminate attacks on public transport that we are all so intimately familiar with makes 'it could've been me' all too easy to say.

Here in Brazil, we are following with deep sorrow the events in London.
This attack affect not just the British people but everybody that believes and figths for a better and peacefull world...
Our hearts and thoughts are all with the victms and we the British people...

I too was searching London blogs and found yours. My heart and prayers go out today to all Londoners who are victims of this senseless and heartless act. We're thinking of you in Canada, stay strong!

yes. thankyou. london has been the focus of much attention lately. yesterday for wonderful surprising celebratory news and today for something completely unexpected and shocking. i don't think it could've been more publicly emotionally oppositional.
